Have just heard the very sad news that Tobias Corbett died last night - due to a bad case of colic.
He will be sadly missed - and sincerest sympathy goes to Michael and family.

Heard the news this morning, couldn't believe it.Very sad for Michael, such a shame Tobias was only with him for a short time.
We now feel incredibly lucky to be the proud owners of a filly foal by Tobias.
A great loss to the breed , lets hope there is success with any frozen semen.

Very sad news about a lovely Stallion, I too am a very proud owner of a Tobias Corbett baby, a Chestnut Colt.

When we heard from Michael this morning we couldn't believe it very sad news indeed as he was an outstanding type and not only a big loss to the breed but particularly to the Cornthwaites who have only had him a brief time. We too are very lucky to have used him last year and eagerly await the birth of our foal by him in the next few weeks- thankfully he leaves 2 pure bred RID stallion sons to continue his line.
