Spring 2013 Mare Inspections

Mare Inspections

Depending on the number of stallions forward for inspection, there should be spaces for a limited number of mares to be inspected at Moreton Morrell in Warwickshire, on Sunday 24 March 2013.
This may interest those who are keen to sell or grade a mare that has not yet been classified, or those who have Class 1 or RID mares which they wish to put forward for assessment for a bronze merit award in showjumping.

Mares must be at least three years old for this inspection (i.e. born in or before 2010), because it is being held so early in the year. Mature two year olds can still come forward in the autumn, as usual.
Mares coming forward for grading at this or any other venue, do not have to jump if the owner does not wish them to do so. However, as we have ready access to a jumping lane at this venue, it would be an ideal opportunity for those who wish to try for a merit award. The closing date for this venue is 31 January, the same as for the stallions.

An application form for this venue only, and a jumping lane plan, will appear on the website in a few days. If you are already interested, you can email the inspection team at : mareinspectionsATidhsgb.com
Further mare inspection venues are currently being planned.

Heather Chaplin, inspection administration manager

Testimonials

Just to let you know that Solo was sold to the second viewer! and has gone to a lovely home near Wolverhampton, last Friday. Helen came down the previous weekend and tried him, had him vetted on the Thursday and collected him on Friday! She was saying how difficult it was to find a good pure bred. Thanks for all your assistance Mary
