Due to adverse weather conditions on the stallion inspection day in March, we will be holding a further inspection opportunity for stallions, geldings and mares from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 29 May 2013 at Warwickshire College, Moreton Morrell, near Warwick CV35 9BP.

One purebred Irish Draught stallion and one or two sport horse stallions may be forward for inspection, which means that we do have some capacity to offer a limited number of gelding and mare inspections on the same day. This is a good option for people who live in the central Midlands, as we cannot guarantee that there will be a venue nearer to your home later on in the year. This is also a good opportunity for anyone who wishes their gelding or mare to be classified and/or assessed for a possible Bronze Merit Award through loose jumping (jumping is optional), to bring them forward. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
 

We have made the decision to continue with the Stallion Inspections this weekend. However, the safety of you and your horse is paramount and if any of you feel that you do not want to risk travelling due to the weather conditions, the IDHS(GB) will make alternative arrangements at the earliest convenience. If you are unable to come, please telephone Carol Malin, Administrator on 07748 644517 before 5pm today.

An announcement will be made on the website at 10am Saturday morning to advice whether or not the Stallion Inspections will be going ahead – due to the adverse weather conditions forecast.
