The IRISH DRAUGHT is indisputably just that - a sound foundation. The breed has been used for hundreds of years, needs no introduction and its success is well tested and proven. Those interested in buying horses will appreciate the rugged aspect of this horse, his desire to do a job, his willingness to please, his longevity, and his durability under modern competitive conditions. His temperament is very "people orientated", and his conformation is ideally put together for him to turn his natural talent to any activity asked of him. Even at the highest levels of competitive work to have IRISH DRAUGHT in the pedigree at foundation level is a much sought after criteria.
