In 2009, shows from all around the country will, once again, be holding Qualifying Classes. From each Class the two highest placed Grade 1 Mares (i.e. RID, AID, SID) with foals at foot by an RID Stallion (or, if one or both have already qualified, the Mare(s) next in line) will go forward to the Final at the Annual Breed Show at Weston Lawns, Bulkington, Warwickshire on Sunday 20th September.
ONLY in the Final will the mare and foal be judged as a pair.
The winner will receive The Snowford Trophy, a sash and rosette, together with prize money of £400.
The runner up will receive a sash and rosette and prize money of £200.
An impressive rosette will be awarded to each qualifier.
