Yearbook - Advertising Rates

YEAR BOOK 2012

The advertising rates for the Year Book have remained unchanged for the past 7 years but with the increase in VAT and other charges, we have had to make some slight increases.

To make things a little easier this year, stallion and stud owners can reserve their space by sending a cheque and notification of their requirements, to reach The Year Book Editor no later than 30 November; the advert can then follow, providing that it arrives by 31 December.

This way, you can be certain that you do not miss out on having your advert in the Year Book and on the website.  Remember, the website gets thousands of hits on a daily basis and the Year Book is global.

Adverts should either be presented in Word format or as a pdf,  and e-mailed to:  yearbookATidhsgb.com

VAT receipts will be issued on receipt of payment

To get the best from your advertisement we need clear, colour photographs – you MUST obtain permission from the photographer and send his/her name and address details with the shot in order that the credit can be published.  For stallion adverts, action shots are  good, as are shots of his progeny.

Advertisements that arrive AFTER the 31 December deadline can not be accepted

ARTICLES      

This is YOUR year book so why not contribute?  We can only publish the things that we receive!

We are always looking for articles/items of interest for the Pure Bred and Sport Horse sections, plus any items of general information that you would like to share.  So, if you have something which you would like to be considered for inclusion in the year book, or you know someone, amateur or professional who would like to share their knowledge, please send it by the deadline of 30 November, as below.

Not all articles can be automatically accepted, and inclusion for publication will be at the discretion of the Year Book Team.  Inevitably, some editing of articles may be necessary due to space constraints.

Articles, which must be typed in Microsoft Word, can be sent,
- as an attachment  to an e-mail, to: yearbookATidhsgb.com
- on a CD or DVD to the address below. (please do not make files Read Only)

- attached to the Yearbook Advertisement Form available on the PayPal Payments page

Photos can also be e-mailed or put on a disc but originals are better – please include name, address and post code for their return.

Please do NOT send payment or items for the year book to the Office or anywhere else, as this will only cause delay and perhaps loss of precious photographs and paperwork. Payment can also be made by PayPal.

The Editor is always happy to help in the preparation of articles and advertisements, just give her a call as soon as you can.
